Needs changes

Needs changes. This template uses 4 thing(s) that n8n 3.0 removes: Cron, Convert to/from binary data, Function (legacy), Function Item (legacy). 4 breaking item(s) found. Static check, last run 2026-10-19.

What this workflow does

This workflow has 9 nodes and runs on a schedule (legacy Cron node) (plus 1 other trigger). Along the way it connects Nextcloud.

How it runs

Trigger: On a schedule (legacy Cron node) (plus 1 other trigger).

  1. Get Workflow List (HTTP Request): calls an HTTP API
  2. Map (Function): runs custom JavaScript (legacy Function node)
  3. Get Workflow (HTTP Request): calls an HTTP API
  4. Merge: merges the data from its input branches
  5. Function Item: runs custom JavaScript per item (legacy Function Item node)
  6. Move Binary Data (Convert to/from binary data): uses Convert to/from binary data
  7. Nextcloud: uses Nextcloud

Services it uses

Nextcloud

Before you upgrade to n8n 3.0

4 things in this workflow are removed in n8n 3.0. Fix them before you upgrade:

  • Cron: replace with Schedule Trigger.
  • Convert to/from binary data in Move Binary Data: replace with Convert to File or Extract from File.
  • Function (legacy) in Map: replace with Code node, mode 'Run Once for All Items'.
  • Function Item (legacy) in FunctionItem: replace with Code node, mode 'Run Once for Each Item'.

Rather not rewrite it? Many of these flows can be rebuilt in Make (free plan).
